Checkups

We recommend that most people get a dental check up and their teeth cleaned every six months. By having your teeth cleaned every six months there will be less tartar and plaque on your teeth, making it easier on you. We closely monitor your teeth and gums, which can prevent small issues from becoming big expensive problems down the road. At your cleaning appointment the hygienist measures your gums for gum disease (periodontitis), takes x-rays if needed, looks for any problem areas, and of course, gently cleans your teeth. Dr. Gentling also does his exam at your check-ups.
