New Patient Exam
Plan to spend about an hour and a half with us for your first visit. After completing a through health history, we'll take digital X-rays, do periodontal charting, and you'll get a gentle hygiene cleaning. Your dental exam will consist of a thorough tooth-by-tooth examination so that we can find problem areas, including old dental work in need of repair. We'll also screen you for oral cancer, a condition that affects 35,000 Americans each year.
Intraoral photos will help Dr. Gentling accurately diagnose dental concerns so that he can create a treatment plan to optimize your oral health. If you have questions about your oral health or dental procedures, please let us know. We offer oral sedation or nitrous oxide for patients who experience dental fear. After your exam, we'll sit down with you to discuss treatment options and answer your questions about insurance benefits or financing. Before you go, we'll schedule your next visit.
