Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are one of the options that Dr. Gentling uses to replace missing teeth. Partials are a removable dental appliance that the patient is able to wear and remove as needed. The partial uses special clasps that hold on to your remaining teeth, which hold it in place while you talk and chew your food. People who gag easily are not good candidates for a partial denture. Dr. Gentling uses both the traditional metal framed partials and the newer flexible all plastic partials. Each style of partial has strengths and weaknesses and every case is different. Together you and Dr. Gentling can decide what is best for you.
