Composite or Tooth-Colored Fillings

Dr. Gentling only places tooth-colored, composite resin fillings. The verdict is still out as to whether silver/amalgam fillings are hazardous to your health. However, it is clear that these metal fillings expand and contract with heat and cold,  often times creating harmful cracks and fractures in teeth. Today's composite fillings are bonded or glued to tooth structure, which result s in a much stronger and more natural looking filling.
